Established in 1992, it is an independent, non-profit and non-governmental organization which encourages research, dialogue, networking and deliberation on a broad range of conventional and non-conventional sources of conflict and conditions of peace.
The RCSS thrives to promote the Vision, “Together for a secure and more safer South Asia”, through research collaborations with regional and international institutions and individuals across the globe.

Five thematic sharing and advocacy online events.
The RCSS held five advocacy meetings for women in higher education, health, governance, and SMEs in line with the Asia Foundation Sri Lanka's "Women's Voice and Leadership" Project. Here, you can read the thoughts expressed by the participants on the various challenges they faced being a woman.
