The Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS) is accepting internship applications, on a rolling basis, for commencement effective 4th January 2016.
Interested candidates should be enrolled in a first degree in international relations or relevant social science. Applicants who have obtained a relevant diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institution will also be considered. Interest in a range of traditional and non-traditional security-related work in South Asia, such as nuclear technology, environment, ethnicity, religion and/or culture is a must. Previous work experience would be an added advantage.

The job profile will entail assistance with program coordination and administrative support, contributing towards proposal writing, social media management, support in collection of data and literature for policy research and analysis, and contribution to the production of research reports and publications, amongst other tasks.
The candidate should have a strong work ethic; possess high team working and interpersonal skills; ability and interest in working within a web-based environment and use of social media is highly appreciated.
A minimum of three months commitment is expected for the internship.
